From 29 July 2024, Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm, parents and carers of children and young people aged 5-19 will be able to contact the School Nursing service by texting the ChatHealth Parentline number on\u00a007312 263002\u00a0with queries or concerns. These concerns can include:<\/p>\n
\tBehaviour management
\n \tDevelopment
\n \tSleep
\n \tHealthy eating
\n \tToileting
\n \tWeight management
\n \tEmotional health
\n \tWellbeing<\/p>\n
Provided the message is sent between 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday, our School Nurses will aim to answer a query within 24 hours. (This excludes weekends, Bank Holidays and school holidays.)
\nThis new service aims to avoid the long waiting times and other difficulties families can have when making appointments to see someone in person. This text messaging service will allow for a quick response from a trained healthcare professional with advice or signposting services.
