The government is committed to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND and those in alternative provision, and a public consultation is being undertaken on the proposals.

Some face-to-face and virtual workshops are also being held. They will give you the opportunity to hear more about the proposals and ask questions.

You can have your say on the review proposals. The government want to hear from a wide range of people, including:

  • parents and carers
  • children and young people
  • people working in the SEND and alternative provision system

You can share your views on the proposals by responding to the public consultation here before Friday 1 July 2022.
