NHS dental treatment is free for children and young people under the age of 18. We welcome referrals from dentists, GPs and other healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n
As a parent or carer, you may also refer your child to the service.<\/p>\n
From the age of 14, we may recommend a young person joins the NHS waiting list to ensure they are registered with a general dentist by the age of 16.<\/p>\n
