Anti-Bullying Week 2024 from Monday 11th to Friday 15th November 2024 aims to raise awareness of bullying of children and young people and highlight ways of preventing and responding to it.

Join Anti-Bullying Week and ‘Choose Respect’ to bring an end to bullying. Empowering children and young people to consider kindness and respect and reminding adults to lead by example.

Research shows that:

30% of children have been bullied in the last year alone

17% have been bullied online

Approximately 1 child in every classroom is experiencing bullying every day

This has a significant impact on children’s lives and into adulthood. With adults who have experienced bullying more likely to be unemployed, experience mental health issues, leave school with no qualifications and be obese.
