Children in Care and Adoption Health Team
Providing a health service to children and young people in care and those preparing for adoption.
The Children in Care and Adoption Health Team are a team of Specialist and Clinical Nurses offering statutory health reviews.
The team provide a health service to children and young people (0-18 years) in care and those preparing for adoption within the Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire County and Bassetlaw areas.
At your Review Health Assessment you can expect our nurses to:
- Treat you with kindness, respect and compassion
- Offer you time alone with the nurse to talk privately about how you feel things are going for you and if you have any worries or concerns
- Offer to review your growth and ask you questions about your health. This tells us a lot about how well you are developing
- The nurse may ask to speak to your carer/s alone so that they can share important information about your health.
