A day of showcasing the wide-ranging reading and learning opportunities on offer.
A Reading and Literacy Festival will take place at Eastwood Library on Thursday, 5th September, 2024, from 10am to 4pm.
It will be a day of showcasing the wide-ranging reading and learning opportunities on offer at Eastwood Library and in the local community for adults and children.
Stands include:
- Inspire ‘I am a Reader’ project and exhibition
- Broxtowe Women’s Project – Power of Words
- Inspire Learning
- Write your own poem with a magnetic poetry kit
- Ian Wood – Poet
- Hidden Valley Poets
- Storytime with Bookstart Bear
- DH Lawrence Society
