Young Carers

If you are a young carer or know of somebody who is a young carer, they need to know how proud we are of them, especially now.   The Young Carers team here in Coventry support children and adults.

They help young carers by listening when they want to talk, giving information and advice, arrange trips and activities to give them a break from caring responsibilities and support them through any troubles they may have in school (if the problems are because they are caring for someone).

Because we realise that not everybody is the same, they provide support to young carers in many different ways to best suit them. It can be face to face in school or The Den, online (facebook, email etc…), telephone call, texting or any other way that you may already use.
