All families need support from time to time to help their babies and children thrive.

 

Enfield’s Youth and Family Hubs offer a welcoming and friendly hub that brings together a range of services for children and families, making it easier for them to get the help they need at the right time.

Enfield has two Youth and Family Hubs located in Ponders End and Edmonton, both hubs directly deliver and host a range of services to families to help babies and children to thrive. Services available at the Youth and Family Hubs include stay and play sessions, health visiting clinics, welfare and benefits advice, speech and language support and sporting activities.

Ponders End Youth and Family Hub

Craig Park Youth and Family Hub

Located at 2 Lawrence Road, Edmonton N18 2HN. The timetable of activities at this hub can be found here.

In addition to the Youth and Family Hub sites there is also a free online offer of courses to support parents, carers, grandparents and teenagers. Courses on offer include:

  • Understanding pregnancy, labour, birth and your baby
  • Understanding your baby (0 to 6 months)
  • Understanding your child (6 months to 19+ years)
  • Understanding your child with additional needs (6 months to 19+ years)
  • Teenager’s feelings and brain development
  • Understanding your relationships and understanding your own trauma (for adults)
