Covid and flu vaccinations for children and adults with a learning disability
Children (aged 5 years and over) and adults with a learning disability are encouraged to get their COVID-19 and flu vaccinations this winter.
Specialist LD vaccination clinics are being organised. These clinics provide extended appointment times and are staffed with healthcare professionals experienced in learning disability support and care. To help provide the best environment to enable people to receive their vaccinations, each appointment can be tailored to suit an individual’s needs.
COVID-19 vaccinations are available up to 31 January 2024 and flu vaccinations finish on 31 March 2024.
