For Children with Learning Disabilities, developmental delays and other special educational needs, learning to become independent use the toilet can be more challenging. The CNCLD Team, often work with families and schools to support toileting plan to ensure that each child has the opportunity to achieve this goal. For all children referred to the team, we encourage school and families to follow the advice and watch the recommended videos. Being prepared, consistent and engaged supports the care pathway and increases positive outcomes for all.
