New mental health self-referral service for Under 18s launches
Does your child want to get help for their mental health in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland? The new self-referral service can help them to find the right support.
On their website they can:
- access information on mental health that can help explain why they may be struggling
- refer themselves for mental health support if they fall under certain criteria
With a self-referral, they can refer themselves to a clinician who will assess their request for support. A self-referral will have the same result as asking a GP to refer them.
